• 안드로이드 Activity란?

  Responsible for creating the window that your application uses to draw and receive events from the system. Only the Activity is an Android Component and responsible for displaying the application user interface.

  (응용 프로그램이 시스템에서 이벤트를 가져오고받는 데 사용하는 window를 생성한다. Activity는 Android 컴포넌트이며 애플리케이션 사용자 인터페이스를 보여줍니다.)

• The Android Manifest is used to register components with the Android framework. (안드로이드 매너페스트는 안드로이드 프레임 워크의 컴포넌트를 등록하는 데에 사용된다.)

• 안드로이드에는 res라는 리소스를 분리한 디렉토리가 있다. 이는 애플리케이션의 외형을 업데이트하는 것을 용이하게 한다. 코드의 수정 없이 이미지 사이즈나 언어를 변경할 수도 있다. 이는 다양한 기기를 지원하는 안드로이드에서 매우 중요한 부분이다.
